Amex, FCm Relaunching Small, Midsize Offerings
February 04, 2010 - American Express Business Travel and FCm Travel Solutions coincidentally are relaunching separate service offerings to small and medium enterprises this week under unified multinational branding. Amex is repackaging its SME services starting Tuesday under the name AXcentis in the United States, Canada and Australia and AXcent in the United Kingdom, France and Nordic region. FCm's SME business has been rebranded under the name Corporate Traveller, launching today in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa, with the United Kingdom to follow next week. Read More>>

Survey: Many To Buy More, Smaller Meetings In 2010
February 04, 2010 - Many European buyers expect to book more meetings and have less to spend per event in 2010, according to the Meetings Industry Report published this week by meetings and communications agency Grass Roots. A survey of 100 customers by Grass Roots revealed that 27 percent expect to stage fewer meetings in 2010 but 33 percent believe they will stage more. However, only 3 percent have larger budgets per event while 46 percent have smaller ones. Read More>>

Delta Amenity Upgrades Coming To Europe
January 28, 2010 - Delta Air Lines this week said it intends to install lie-flat beds in its BusinessElite business class cabin on all services to Europe by 2013. The beds have been introduced on routes between the United Sates and London Heathrow in the past year, but now aircraft serving all 42 destinations in Europe are to be brought up to the same standard.
